Dead Irish was not very action Since the author is supposed to be a legal thriller writer I though it was worth the effort. The first is Dead Irish which, from what I can tell, is the first with characters Dismas Hardy - a cop turned lawyer turned bar tender (amen!) and Abe Glitsky - cop/5.

Dead Irish finds Dismas Hardy, having retired from both police work and his legal career, now tending bar, persuaded to investigate the death of the son of a friend.
